Reeco® Platform Overview

Reeco® issues Digital Product Passports (DPP) for EU textile compliance, verified in real time against primary certification sources and cryptographically signed. Operated by Stefano Cipriani Studio (Prato, Italy, founded 2017 — VAT IT02391280977, LEI 8156007B2A5194A30603).

1. What Reeco is

A verification-first DPP issuer. Reeco does not certify and does not host marketing content: it verifies supply-chain claims (Transaction Certificates GRS, RCS, OCS) against the primary databases of Textile Exchange, Control Union and Intertek, computes per-garment mass balance, and issues an Ed25519-signed verifiable credential per item. Aligned with ESPR and the UN Transparency Protocol (UNTP 0.7.0).

2. Live cryptographic endpoints (verifiable by anyone)

Signature: single EdDSA (Ed25519), enveloping JOSE. An ES256 key is published in the did:web document for cryptographic agility. Reeco credentials are not "dual-signed". Conformance validated against the CIRPASS-2 dpp-validator (SHACL / JSON-LD path).

3. Per-garment Mass Balance Engine

Supply-chain certificates are issued in kilograms; consumer claims are made per garment. Reeco translates certified kg into verified grams per item. On coverage shortfall the brand receives a closed set of two options: (1) uniform chain-of-custody recomposition across the full bulk at the substantiated value; or (2) partition — covered units carry the full claim, uncovered units carry no recycled claim, with the covered count computed as floor(N × coverage). No self-validation, no third path. If both options are refused, the DPP is not issued. Reeco informs; the brand decides.

4. Product Environmental Footprint (PEF)

Status: PEF DECLARED — not certified. Methodology EF 3.1, PEFCR Apparel & Footwear v2.0, 16 impact categories, computed from real per-tier activity data (4 supply-chain tiers) collected through the DPP data flow. Output: JOSE-signed PEF credential per garment/batch. Scientific advisor for the environmental-impact layer: Prof. Giampietro Ravagnan.

8. What Reeco does not claim

• Reeco is not a certification body: it verifies against primary sources and signs the result.
• PEF is declared per EF 3.1, not third-party certified.
• No claim is approved or rejected autonomously: the mass-balance shortfall procedure always leaves the decision to the brand.
