During compliance testing for the Digital Product Passport (DPP) against the United Nations UNTP 0.7.0 requirements, we identified an anomaly in the official verification system that blocked validation for all operators in the sector.
Instead of waiting, our technical team intervened directly:
We identified the error in the inference rules of the UN test suite.
We developed the software fix and submitted it to the official UN repository.
The fix has been approved and merged (PR #876).
The result? The Digital Product Passports generated by Reeco are now the first in the world verified and 100% compliant with the UNTP 0.7.0 standard (12 tests passed out of 12).
